Apart from the 11 Bond films that he has scored and themed ΓÇô from 1962ΓÇÖs Dr No through to The Living Daylights in 1987 ΓÇô BarryΓÇÖs musical imprint can be found on the popular classics of each successive decade. He has won five Oscars, for the song and score of Born Free (1966), The Lion in Winter (1968), Out of Africa (1985) and Dances with Wolves (1990), and was nominated Academy Awards for Mary Queen of Scots (1971) and Chaplin (1992). Among the other highlights of his 40-year film career are Zulu (1964), Midnight Cowboy (1969) and his jazzy soundtrack for the remake of Body Heat (1981).
